SMALL CLAIMS COURT - A special court designed to provide quick, informal and inexpensive resolution of relatively small civil suits (usually valued at $7,500 or less). Often lawyers are not allowed.

RESIDENTIAL EVICTIONS ( formerly known as FORCIBLE ENTRY OR DETAINER ) - A court action by a landlord against a tenant to remove (evict) the tenant from a rented dwelling (house, apartment, mobile home, mobile home space, or floating home).
