Traffic Citation

Traffic crimes include but are not limited to:

  • DUII (Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants)
  • DWS (Driving While Suspended)
  • Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver
  • Reckless Driving

If you are charged with a traffic crime, you must appear on the date listed on your citation. If you do not appear, the judge can issue a warrant for your arrest and in the case of the DUII you may lose the right to enroll in a diversion program.

If you have not received a DUII in the past ten (10) years you may be eligible to file a diversion petition. If you successfully complete the agreement with the court, the DUII charge will be dismissed.
