Yes, you do. If you fail to appear in Court as required, a warrant for your arrest will be issued and you may be arrested and punished by jail and/or a fine.

You will get your security money back when the defendant is sentenced or when the case is dismissed. Remember that when you paid security, you signed a release that states that the court automatically keeps 15% of the deposit posted for administrative release costs, and the court may order that the remainder of the deposit be applied toward payment of any fines, costs, assessments, restitution, attorney fees or other financial obligations imposed in this case or any case in Lane County Circuit Court in which the defendant owes money.
