NOTICE: Court Appearance eMail Scam

The court has learned of an email scam through which malicious code is loaded on computers via the e-mailing of fraudulent court appearance notices. The court does not send email to any person without that person first requesting email notification and providing an email address for use in pending cases. You are welcome to call the court to confirm actions in pending cases at (541) 682-4020. The scam is detailed on Snopes.com.
