Welcome to Linn County Circuit Court

Linn County is located in the mid-Willamette Valley. The population is slightly greater than 115,000. The economy has a diversified base, which includes farming, timber growth, heavy metals industry, education and a growing service segment. Interstate 5, the major west coast transportation artery, transverses Linn County from north to south and US Highway 20 transverses the County from east to west. The City of Albany is in the western part of Linn County where these two transportation throughways intersect.

The City of Albany has the largest concentration of population within Linn County. The county seat is located in Albany. The Linn County Circuit Court is located in the Linn County Courthouse at 300 Fourth Avenue, Albany, Oregon. Click here for Map

The circuit court provides service to all of the citizens of Linn County and to others who have a need for judicial services in Linn County. The mission of the circuit court can be stated as follows:

  • To provide a place of last resort for members of the community to resolve disputes and/or conflicts.
  • To effectively and efficiently record and maintain records of court decisions and the court process.


As of January 1, 2013, the circuit court consists of five elected judges and a staff of 31 employees.
