Payment Options and Information

Payments can be made in the following ways:

• BY CREDIT CARD ON-LINE: Available any time on most court cases, citations, and accounts; Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards accepted.
  
  NOTE: Criminal and some other cases require a personal appearance; if you have not yet appeared, please read our Traffic page.
  
  - A $3.50 processing fee will be assessed on each transaction;
  - Payments are processed and recorded on your case within one business day;
  - Case/citation or account number required for each transaction;
  - It may take 10-15 days for new citations to be available for on-line payment; if you recently received your citation and the number is not found, please check back before your appearance date;
  - Please call during business hours if you have further questions.

If your account is not paid in full within 25 days, an additional assessment will be added to your account as follows per ORS 1.202(1):

Balance of:  $    1 - $149.99:  $  50 fee
                  $150 - $399.99:  $125 fee
                  $400 or more:     $200 fee

If payment arrangements are not made or if your account is delinquent 45 days from the payment due date, the account will be turned over to a collection agency and an additional 28% collection fee will be added to your account per ORS 1.202 (2). It is your responsibility to assure your account is current and the court is not responsible for any mail delays, etc.

Per ORS 809.267, the court will add a $15 fee to the judgment in any case in which the court notifies the Department of Transportation requesting to suspend or restrict driving privileges for failure to pay a fine, failure to appear or comply with a court order.
