Circuit courts are Oregon’s state courts of “general jurisdiction.” We provide services for all types of cases ranging from traffic violations to divorces, from tenant disputes to serious felonies.
Services we provide include, among other things, adjudication by judges or juries, pre-trial services for domestic relations (family law), F.E.D. (evictions) and violations, and post-trial financial services such as payment, refund of security and revenue recovery.
We hope this website will provide you with information about the courts, our services, and the Oregon legal system.
The Oregon Judicial Department gives an excellent introduction to the courts of Oregon and the history of the Oregon courts on their web page.
Information about jury service and an on-line form for responding to your jury summons is also available on our website.
