Court Hour Changes
Effective November 1, 2011, all Tenth Judicial District public service counters shall be closed from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Courtrooms shall continue to run until 5 p.m. or such time as the presiding judge deems appropriate.
A drop box will be located in Union County at 1007 4th Street, La Grande, Oregon. The box will be checked daily at 5:00 p.m. Any item left in the box between 4:30p.m. and 5:00 p.m. will be received that same business day. Any item left after 5:00 p.m. will be considered received the following business day.

Courts will also be closed on scheduled Legal Holidays and Furlough Closures
Union County Circuit Court is in the 10th Judicial District. Located in the Union County Courthouse in LaGrande, it shares two judges with Wallowa County Circuit Court.

Some circuit courts, especially smaller ones, have limited public service hours. The Office of the State Court Administrator publishes a chart of public service hours for all state courts.
