COURTROOM DRESS CODE

Guidelines:

Ø  Dress modestly; wear clothing that is clean and without rips and holes.

Ø  No low cut shirts, No see-through clothing, No Halter Tops, backless tops or tube tops.

Ø  Tank tops must have a 1’ strap and no gaps under the arms (this applies to men and women).

Ø  Skirts and shorts must be mid thigh length (If you have to ask then it’s too short).

Ø  No bare midriffs, No spandex, No Flip Flops, No Hats or Bandannas/“Do-rags”.

Ø  Undergarments are not to be visible, No saggy pants or Underwear worn on the outside of your clothing.

Ø  No Shirts with Logos, innuendoes, symbols or the like that are sexually suggestive.

Ø  No implied or direct advertising of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs on any clothing or jewelry.

Ø  In general tuck in and button up. Please follow the dress code.  If you don’t you can and will be asked to leave and change your attire. COURTROOM ETIQUETTE

Ø  Turn Cell Phone OFF.

Ø  Speak up and Speak clearly, Answer questions (yes/no etc.) you are being recorded.

Ø  No Food or Drink in the Courtroom.

Ø  You are not allowed to Chew Gum in the Courtroom.

Ø  Be respectful to all persons in the courtroom/ Attorneys, Staff, Audience and other Defendants etc.
