The Wheeler County Courthouse is located at
701 Adams St., Fossil, Oregon 97830 (Google Map).
There are two ways to get to the courthouse from I-84.
- Traveling East or West on I-84, take exit 104. Turn South into the town of Biggs. You are now on U.S. Route 97 South. Travel South about 10 miles to the town of Wasco. Exit U.S. 97 into the town of Wasco. Once in the town, you will be on State Route 206. Follow this for approximately 40 miles to the town of Condon. In Condon, continue straight until you come to a stop sign. At the stop sign make a right hand turn South onto State Route 19. Follow Route 19 South for approximately 20 miles to the town of Fossil. Turn left at the first entrance to Fossil. Travel 3 blocks to Adams Street. Turn right. Travel 2 blocks. The Wheeler County courthouse will be on your right.
- Traveling East or West on I-84 near Arlington. Take exit 137 and turn South onto State Route 19. Continue South on State Route 19 about 58 miles to the town of Fossil. Turn left at the first entrance to Fossil. Travel 3 blocks to Adams Street. Turn right. Travel 2 blocks. The Wheeler County courthouse will be on your right.
