Driving Directions:

If you are coming south on I-5:

1. Take I-5 South to Eugene. Take exit 194B to Eugene (I-105). Take exit 2 off I-105, then Downtown/UO exit. Stay left at fork. At the end of the off-ramp, go straight and go over Willamette River on Ferry Street Bridge. Take the 8th Avenue exit. Go about 3 blocks to Oak. The Courthouse is located at the corner of 8th Avenue and Oak. It is a four-story building with steel girders and a large, open plaza in front.

If you are coming north on I-5:

1. Take I-5 North to Eugene. Take exit 192 (Franklin Blvd./U of O) which leads to Franklin Blvd. Get into the right lane and stay on Franklin (about a mile) as it curves under an overpass and becomes 6th Avenue. Take a left onto Pearl. Go two blocks and take a right onto 8th Avenue. The Courthouse is located at the corner of 8th Avenue and Oak. It is a four-story building with steel girders and a large, open plaza in front.

If you are coming east from Florence/West Eugene on Highway 126:

1. Take Highway 126 East to Eugene. Upon entering Eugene, 126 becomes West 11th Avenue. Follow traffic left at Garfield, then take a right onto 7th Avenue. Take a right onto 7th and go about 18 blocks. Take a right onto Pearl and take the next right onto 8th Avenue. The Courthouse is located at the corner of 8th Avenue and Oak. It is a four-story building with steel girders and a large, open plaza in front.

If you are coming west from East Springfield on Highway 126:

Parking:

Downtown Eugene has several parking options.

1) Metered parking - Most of the streets in downtown Eugene have parking meters. They take nickels (4 minutes), dimes (8 minutes) and quarters (20 minutes).

2) Pre-Paid Parking Lots - There are several parking lots around the courthouse. Park your car, then take your dollar bills and coins to the ticket machine to pre-pay. Place your ticket on your dashboard before leaving the lot. Pre-paid parking lots are located at: 1) the county lot, located behind the Umpqua Bank building on 7th Avenue, with entrances on Pearl and Oak; 2) the ``butterfly" lot across from the Courthouse at 8th and Oak Street (entrance on Oak Street).

3) Parking Garages - There are several parking garages in downtown Eugene in which you pay when you leave the garage. The parking garages are located at: 1) Overpark Garage on Oak Street between 10th and Broadway, with an entrance on Oak Street, 2) Parkade Garage on 7th Avenue, between Willamette and Olive.
