Information for Case Participants
Case participants are persons (litigants or defendants) who are parties in a case with pending matters to be resolved. When a case is scheduled for a remote hearing, some or all the participants, including attorneys and witnesses, may be required to appear via remote means. The court uses Webex to host these hearings when done by video and will provide case participants with the link to join the hearing. See our Litigant Guide for more information on preparing for and accessing your scheduled remote hearing.
Malheur County Circuit Court has a new phone system with a phone bridge that can hold up to 30 lines. This phone bridge will be used to conduct remote telephone court appearances.
Here are some quick guidelines.
- Please call in to the court at least 2 minutes, but not more than 5 minutes prior to the hearing.
- Please be prepared to notify the clerk of your name and which hearing you are calling in for.
- Please keep your phone on mute until the judge addresses your case.
