Instructions
These instructions explain how to file a complaint with the Commission on Judicial Fitness and Disability using the online complaint form.
- PLEASE NOTE that the online complaint form times out after two minutes. Please prepare all your complaint materials before clicking the button below.
- Before filing a complaint against a judge, please read the Oregon Code of Judicial Conduct to get a good idea of the Commission’s jurisdiction and authority.
- The Commission does not have the authority over the legal outcome of your case.
- The Commission does not have jurisdiction over arbitrators, mediators, federal court judges, municipal court judges, or administrative law judges.
- If you want to file a complaint, please complete the form with as much information as you have.
- Please explain the circumstances that led to your complaint with the most complete and accurate information that you have. Listing relevant events in chronological order and providing dates, places, and witnesses to the judge’s actions would be helpful.
- Please attach any evidence of misconduct (for example, court transcripts, hearing audio, or written communication from the judge) using the “Choose Files” button at the bottom of the form.
