Orientation Training for New Board Members
Prospective CRB Board Members are provided with approximately 16 hours of Orientation Training before they begin their service. CRB Board Members are also provided with opportunities for special discussion groups and coaching by the CRB Trainers throughout their first year of service.
Please reach out to your local CRB Field Manager if you are interested in registering for a CRB Orientation Training.
Continuing Education Requirements and Opportunities
To remain in active status and good standing, CRB Board Members must complete and report at least eight hours of continuing education per year (at least one hour of which must be related to cultural responsiveness).
Report your continuing education hours here or use the button below.
The CRB provides continuing education at the annual CRB conference, ongoing lunchtime trainings throughout the year, and locally with CRB Field Managers. CRB Board Members may also choose their own training on topics related to their work. Please reach out to the CRB Trainer Team or your local CRB Field Manager for a list of training videos to choose from, or with questions about using an outside training for CRB continuing education.
