In an effort to support candidates along their journey to becoming Oregon Certified Court Interpreters, CLAS staff interpreter Enrique Andrade sat down with his fellow staff interpreters to chat about how they prepared to become a court interpreter.
With his years of experience, CLAS was happy to work with Enrique to lead this project. Enrique started his work as a Staff Interpreter II with the OJD in 2001. Beyond balancing a busy courthouse docket in his workstation in Washington County, Enrique works on various projects for the Oregon Judicial Department and Court Language Access Services for the development of Remote Interpreter procedures, techniques, and strategies.
