The State of Oregon has 36 different counties which are divided into 27 judicial districts. The Polk County Circuit Court is the 12th Judicial District within the Oregon Judicial Branch and is located in the City of Dallas, Oregon.
The operations of the 12th Judicial District are housed in the historic Polk County Courthouse, built in 1899, its annex built in 1965, and the Polk County Jail Building, built in 1999 which is located across the street from the annex.
The primary records office is located on the third floor of the annex and houses the civil, domestic relations, traffic and accounting operations. The court administration, treatment court management, and jury coordination functions are also located within the primary records office. The juvenile records office is located in the historic courthouse building and the criminal records office is located in the jail building.
