 JOSEPHINE CO-PARENTING EDUCATION PROGRAM
 Effective immediately, the co-parent education program is being held online
Parties can sign up for the course at www.online.divorce-education.com 
Please note: parties that attend the online co-parenting education program must submit a certificate of completion to the court. If you have questions regarding your specific case, please call the family court unit at 541.476.2309. Please note that due to limited staffing, wait times may be longer than usual.

 
JOSEPHINE MEDIATION ORIENTATION
Group mediation orientation sessions scheduled on Monday at 8:15 am have been cancelled until further notice. Parties ordered to attend mediation should call the court mediator directly at 541.474.5180 for further instruction. Telephonic mediation sessions will still be taking place.

 
LOCAL TEMPORARY RESOURCES AND PROCEDURES DURING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Josephine County Circuit Court has developed local resources and procedures to assist litigants during COVID-19 restrictions of court operations. For a complete set of guidelines and restrictions please see Presiding Judge Order (Amended) PJO 20-012 and the most recent Chief Justice Orders.
 
Joining Cisco WebEx Videoconferencing
Josephine County Circuit Court is utilizing Cisco WebEx for a majority of remote hearings. If your court matter has been set for a remote hearing, you will be notified by email of the videoconference at least 48 hours before your matter is set before the court. Please Note: If you have not provided an email address to the court for remote hearing access, you should use the Remote Contact form listed below to notify the court of your current information.
 
Submitting Exhibits for Remote Hearings
Parties may submit exhibits for their court matter remotely. This may be done using the File and Serve e-filing system, by fax, or in limited circumstances delivered to the court in person. The form below provides a template for the required coversheet for exhibit submission as well as instructions on submitting exhibits remotely.
 
Telephonic Restraining Order Process
Josephine County Circuit Court has developed a process to allow petitioners in protective order matters to file and appear for the initial (first) hearing remotely. Petitions and accompanying documents may be submitted by fax with the required coversheet. The court will call the petitioner at the phone number provided for their initial hearing. See the informational flyer outlining the process and the required coversheet below.


Show Cause Orders - Family Court Matters
Josephine County Circuit Court has developed a process and accompanying documents required on certain "show cause" matters where a moving party (filer) must serve the adverse party with documents. The Presiding Judge Order below outlines the required steps and accompanying documents for this process.
