Beware of Jury Scams

Scammers will call jurors and pretend to be from the Sheriff's Office. Here's how you can identify this scam:

The court will...

  • Never ask jurors to pay money in any form.
  • Never ask you to meet an officer or court employee outside of the courthouse.
  • Never require you to give sensitive personal information over the phone or by email.

The Lane County Sheriff's Office will never call you regarding your jury service.

If you receive one of these scam calls or emails never provide them any information.

You can help us by writing down the phone number that called you and reporting it to Lane County Sheriff's Office and the Lane County Jury office.
