Biography:
Judge David E. Delsman was appointed by Governor John Kitzhaber to serve as a Circuit Court Judge in March 2013. Judge Delsman was elected to retain his position in November 2014. He was then re-elected in May 2020. His current term expires January 1, 2027. Judge Delsman is a member to the Governor's Task Force on Victims' Rights Enforcement. He also serves as Criminal Administrative Judge and presides over the Linn County Domestic Violence court.
Judge Delsman is a third-generation Oregonian. He was raised in Polk County and graduated from Dallas High School. He majored in Political Science with a minor in Economics at the University of Oregon. He received his Bachelor's degree from the U of O in 1988. He was accepted into the University of Oregon School of Law, graduating in 1992.
