 About the 2025 Conference

Court Language Access Services is excited to be hosting our 10th Pacific Northwest Court Interpreter Conference! We have a fantastic line up of presenters and workshops, and are looking forward to reconnecting, networking, and learning together.

Our Saturday workshops have something for everyone. Language neutral sessions include a case/trial preparation workshop by staff interpreter Enrique Andrade, and a consecutive skill building workshop  by Athena Matilsky in the afternoon.

On Saturday morning, Spanish interpreters can attend a three-hour consecutive workshop by Athena Matilsky. On Katty Kauffman is presenting a three-hour simultaneous skill building workshop for Spanish Court interpreters on Saturday afternoon.

Candidates preparing for Certification will have the chance to attend an all-day, hands-on, skill building workshop on Saturday, presented by Carola Lehmacher .

Sunday Katty Kauffman will lead an interactive, language-neutral workshop where the discussion will focus on the practical and ethical considerations involved in working in the simultaneous mode in legal settings, seminars, and conferences. Participants will also have an opportunity to practice the skills needed to succeed in those unique contexts.

The Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn in Wilsonville. The conference will not have a reserved room block, but lodging is available.
