Greater Oregon Facilitation Initiative (GOFI) FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions related to the Greater Oregon Facilitation Initiative (GOFI).

GOFI is a regionalized approach to facilitation. Our combined resources help increase access to justice and work toward ensuring that all self-represented parties in our region have access to family law facilitation services. Our GOFI goal is to have a meaningful impact on parties and families in need of help in rural areas where resources are not as available or those who may face other barriers for accessing local services.

GOFI family law facilitators are not lawyers. Facilitators can help any self-represented litigant with questions about family law case types for any of our participating counties including Benton, Clackamas, Crook, Deschutes, Gilliam, Hood River, Jefferson, Lane, Linn, Marion, Sherman, Union, Wallowa, Wasco, and Wheeler Counties.
