Obtaining a Protective Order in Marion County
Hearings for all types of protective orders are held at 1:30 pm every day that the Court is open.
Your paperwork must be completed and filed with the Court no later than 10:30 am to be seen the same day at 1:30 pm. You may submit your paperwork after 10:30 am, however, the case will not be heard until the following day at 1:30 pm. Forms are available in the Family Law Department for no charge.
There are several different types of protective orders:
