Hearings for all types of protective orders are held at 1:30 pm every day that the Court is open.

Your paperwork must be completed and filed with the Court no later than 10:30 am to be seen the same day at 1:30 pm. You may submit your paperwork after 10:30 am, however, the case will not be heard until the following day at 1:30 pm. Forms are available in the Family Law Department for no charge.

There are several different types of protective orders:

Restraining Protective Orders (sometimes called FAPA Orders because they are created under the Family Abuse and Prevention Act.)
Sexual Abuse Protective Orders
Stalking Orders
Elder Abuse Protective Orders
Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO)
