Oregon law (ORS 1.202) and Chief Justice Order 21-043 requires the court to add a $25.00 fee to EACH case for which a payment plan has been requested by the debtor and that is expected to extend longer than 12 months.
Failure to pay your case in full or maintain monthly payments could result in your debt being sent to an outside collection agency. If this happens the court will add a collection fee of 28% automatically.
For fish and wildlife related crimes or violations – the court will notify the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife if you do not maintain your monthly payments. Your hunting and fishing privileges may be suspended, and you may be unable to apply for a new license or tag.
